Overview
You can delete your ToneLogger account and personal data at any time. ToneLogger (operated by Legit Logic Labs, LLC) is a record-keeping tool for volunteer Fire and EMS departments. This page explains how to delete your account, what is removed, and what is retained.
Delete your account in the app
To delete your account from the ToneLogger mobile app:
- Open the app and go to the More tab → Account.
- Tap Delete account in the danger zone at the bottom.
- Confirm by typing your email address. This permanently deletes your sign-in identity and signs you out.
Delete your account on the web
You can do the same from the website: sign in, open Account, and use the Delete account option. The confirmation works the same way.
Request deletion by email
If you can't sign in, or you'd like us to delete your data on your behalf, email us at info@legitlogiclabs.com from the address associated with your account. Please include your name and department so we can locate your record. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account — your sign-in identity (name and email) is permanently removed and you can no longer sign in.
- Your membership — your link to any department you belong to is removed.
What may be retained
To preserve the integrity of a department's historical records, the activity entries associated with your past membership may be retained in de-identified form — no longer linked to your account or personal identity. A department may separately request export or deletion of its own records.
Backups containing data may persist for a limited period before being overwritten in the normal course of operations, after which the data is no longer recoverable.
