Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ToneLogger mobile app and website (the "Service"), operated by Legit Logic Labs, LLC ("ToneLogger," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ToneLogger is a record-keeping tool for volunteer Fire and EMS departments to log activities, track participation, and produce reports. It is provided for administrative and record-keeping purposes only.

The Service is not a 911 or emergency dispatch system, is not a medical device, and must not be relied upon for emergency response, life-safety, or clinical decisions. Do not enter patient protected health information (PHI) into the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized by your department to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Access to a department's data requires that a department administrator or a ToneLogger operator grant you membership; signing up alone does not grant access to any department's operational data.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Enter patient health information or other data you are not authorized to record.
• Attempt to access data belonging to departments or members you are not authorized to access.
• Interfere with, disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service or its security.

Your department retains ownership of the records it enters into the Service. You grant ToneLogger the rights needed to host, process, and display that data in order to provide the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any unavailability of the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ToneLogger does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any emergency or life-safety use.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ToneLogger and Legit Logic Labs, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or records, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
